2011-2012 Student Leaders

Students in the Intermediate and Advanced classes who show the maturity of being dependable, self-disciplined and good with younger students may be offered the opportunity to serve as Student Leaders. As these young people assist the adult teacher in classes (i.e. handing out and caring for props, leading the class in movements across the floor), they are learning work and people skills, as well as leadership and administration. Meetings and Work Days are held periodically throughout the dance year.

Those who prove themselves may advance in the future to become Senior Student Leaders, Teaching Assistants, and possibly even Assistant Teachers.
