En Avant Studio: Performances

Technique without pressure or competition!

Choreography

All choreography has been acquired with permission or designed by En Avant Studio
and may not be used outside of the studio without the express written consent of the director.

Christmas

Each class performs a simple dance to demonstrate technique, the week before Christmas break. The dances are followed by a special performed with Mom and Dad and a time for refreshments and visiting. Each party is about 1-1.5 hours in length.

Students wear normal classwear attire, but may add a Christmas vest or skirt (see teacher for clarification).

*No regular classes that week except adults. Parties are usually held on the day of the student's regular class.

Spring (May)

A 1.5-2 hour program with all classes, held as announced, off campus & followed by a short awards presentation. Each spring performance is personally written and designed by our director as a story with a central theme.

Ballet costumes: $50 and up (includes 1 pair of tights for girls)

All other classes: $50 and up (includes 1 pair of tights for girls not already in ballet, 1 pair of socks for boys in tap)

For your convenience, costume fees are divided into 3 payments:

1st Deposit due October 15 (non-refundable)

2nd Deposit due November 15 (non-refundable)

Final Payment due February 1 (non-refundable)

Also, for your convenience, the spring performance fee is divided into 2 payments:

1/2 due February 1 (non-refundable)

1/2 due March 1 (non-refundable)

Fee includes 1 Invitation, 1 DVD (recorded & edited by a professional videographer) & 1 Recital T-shirt per family

Additional invitations, DVDs and t-shirts available for a fee

Participation is optional, but you must notify the Studio by November 15 if you will not be participating or if you would like to change days/classes.

Other Performances

Other performance venues include, but are not limited to:

Nursing Homes, Parades, Festivals & Other Ceremonies

You will be notified 2-4 weeks in advance. Participation is optional and usually there is no cost involved.
